Week of May 29

Much was accomplished this week. We executed very efficiently, we got a film done in a week. Our results are very satisfying, I like it very much. We didn't mess around while filming and took it very seriously so maybe thats why it was done well. Our actors did a good job in making the film look realistic. Our director did a very good job in creating the image he was picturing in his head as well. Our song goes very well with the video because nit brings out the message a lot more.

Week of April 10th

This week our group was able to reshoot some of our scenes because our let film wasn't so great. we weren't satisfied with the final results so we decided to reshoot the whole film. Every scene needs to be well planned, we are rethinking everything out because the light on our last film want so great either. I am the main actor sand we were only able to film once throughout this whole week because some of our members are busy. I think that were are going to be done next week by friday the 17th.

Week of April 3rd

Throughout this week my film mates and I have been editing our film. We finished the final product but it doesn’t seem complete. There are some scenes that can be redone and well we decided to redo the whole film because we are not satisfied with our end results. We are going to do a narrative film instead of a PSA. Another thing that happened during this week was that jobs were assigned and well I have to make sure my keyboard is clean to get credit for actually cleaning it. If not then my grade will go down and I don’t want that to happen. 

Last Week of March

            This week has been very busy. My film mates and I took the time to structure our PSA that’s due on the 1^st of April. We even filmed what we need for the PSA. There is one problem though, in our film, it shows the dangers of being out at night. I am the main actor and well I get mugged and stabbed at night when going to one of my friend’s house. In the scene where I get mugged, I get stabbed right after. The scene shows the possession of knives. We used them because we need to show a more realistic scenario that will get the message across effectively. We didn’t ask permission to use knives in the PSA though so everything we filmed might be for nothing if our request gets denied. Another issue that we have is that one of our filmmakers wants to go out on a sweet vacation while we are here working hared. He deserves a fail. Nips deserves a FAIL. 

What Music Means to Me

Music is life to me. I can listen to music throughout the whole day and I won’t get bored of it. I listen to Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye, and other artists. I usually get in trouble in my classes for having my earphones on, but I find music appropriate at most times. It helps me concentrate and focus better. Like in my math class, I hate when I’m trying to do my work in silence, or when I have people trying to compare answers with me. I don’t care about what’s going on around me, I just want to get my work done as fast as possible. So because of this, I put my earphones on and listen to music while I’m working. It actually kind of motivates me to do my work when I’m listening to music, trying to get things done in silence is so boring. I can’t stand it, it gets me frustrated. Music is needed for everything. You need it to work out, do homework, and to do chores.  My mother makes me do chores everyday so yes I use music to help me get things done faster. Music gets me in the best moods ever. I listen to rap.  

Problems and Struggles

            Our generation has to go through a lot more. Back then people would get into businesses that gave them a well-paid salary. They got into the businesses without getting a high school diploma; it’s not like that anymore. We have to go through college to get a career that pays good money; we have to worry about paying for college when we are only students who don’t even work yet. I know that financial aid helps but it won’t cover all costs. Some colleges are very expensive. I hate having to worry about having to pay for my education when I don’t even work yet. I wish I could just get a career that pays me well without having to go through all the college stuff. 

The Most Interesting Person In The World

The most interesting person that I know is my brother Allen. He is very funny and knows what say when you’re feeling depressed. He always find the bright side in every situation, I admire that from him. He is younger than me and I learn things from him. He always has a way of making my day, it’s usually because he cracks a joke or does something idiotic to piss my mother off but he’s my brother and I find that very amusing. He is currently bringing his grades up and I admire his efforts because he’s been working hard. He cares about his future, unlike other middle school kids who really don’t care about their grades or future.

My Anti Drug

My Anti drug is basketball. I have love and passion for the game. I was on the basketball team and practicing everyday was the best. It would help me forget about all the problems that I had and the amount of schoolwork that I would have. Not only that but playing the game brings good vibes. The feeling of competing against other people on the court is my favorite thing to do. I try to be the best out there all the time. When I’m feeling down, angry, or worried, I go play basketball. I also like learning from other people who are better than me. I observe how they handle the ball, how they take a person on, and finish at the rack.  

The Inconvenient Truth

            Global warming can cause massive destruction and can take the lives of many people. It’s a process though, the coastal cities are the ones in the most danger. Whole cities will be under water due to the increase in temperatures in the oceans. Once all the glaciers melt, the oceans will heat up. When the water heats up, things like tsunamis end up taking place. This is what will cause the flooding of the cities.

            Although we have this problem, we don’t act to stop this. When it comes to economic and environmental problems, the people will worry more about their economic problems. Money will control the people but if there is not an Earth to live on, money will be the least of our problems. Our lives are at stake.
