Compassionate Science

Compassionate Science
It’s very hard to make a difference in this world. It takes the skills to make a change but it takes more than just skills. Not all people are committed to make a change. What I mean by change is like helping those in need.  People all across the world are going through very tough situations like hunger, disease, and injuries. Most people who look at someone in need just feel sorry for them. Those who truly have the heart to help out are dedicated and it takes a lot to be dedicated.
I don’t think I’ll make a change in this world but if I see someone I can help out I will. I’ll put myself in their shoes are try to get an image of what it feels like to go through the hardships their going through. I won’t make much of a difference but I will attempt to make a change.

The Future

The Future
Technology will be better in the future of course. In about 10 years, maybe the iPhone 16 will have come out and the features will be better. I think that maybe all the buttons of the phone will be touch screen, that way there will be no more issues of buttons messing up. I believe that people will have weight problems in the future as well. There are a lot of weight problems but the problem will become more significant. Modern technology is making everything easy on people and this will make people lazier than they already are. How will this problem get solved? Will they giving restrictions to fast food places and start giving healthier food to the consumer? This will cause disaster because people actually like the junk food fast food restaurants give, and it’s cheap. I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen in the future. Maybe there will be another war, who knows, the future is unpredictable.

LMAO

LMAO
When I was still on the basketball team we would work out outside on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would do 4 sets of push-ups, 3 sets of sit ups, planks, and run a mile. We would usually just bullshit through our sets, not even doing them right because the coach wasn’t there to watch us. On the day our coach decided to watch us do our sets, it was so tiring and I just wanted to get the sets over with because it was so hot outside. Everyone was so frustrated and disappointed because Tuesdays we usually just days to chill. We couldn’t lag when he was there; he even counted how many we would do as well. Once we got to our 3rd set of sit-ups, everybody was tired and exhausted. One of my friends was forcing himself too much and well he farted when we went up during the sit up. This made the whole team laugh, even the coach was laughing. It isn’t very funny but it was funny at the moment because we didn’t expect that at all. It was the joke of the week though because we would clown on our friend in the locker room, during class, and during lunchtime until the joke got boring.

Charlie Chaplin Modern Times

Charlie Chaplin Modern Times
Modern Times was successful in making people laugh a lot. There was a cool scene like where the tramp was riding the roller skates. I thought a scene that was funny was when he was singing without knowing any lyrics. He was making things up on the spot and the audience he had really liked his performance. The thing that I didn’t like was that they didn’t really talk. There were some slides that you would read off of to understand the movie but it could’ve been better if the characters would’ve talked more. I thought it was funny how the little tramp would always being accused of being some sort of communist and well he had a very bad relationship with the police. He was thrown in jail like three times which shows his relationship with them. I think it’s just his bad luck with them.

My Thoughts on Bullying

My Thoughts on Bullying
I personally think that bullying is wrong because it lowers the self-esteem of other people. People who get bullied sometimes end up being bullies to other people. Most of the time it’s the other way around, people just start feeling negative about themselves. There have been cases where people commit suicide because they can’t handle the way they are being treated and because of the things other people think of them. There are ways of handling bullying such as telling an adult. Victims of bullying usually don’t say anything because they are threatened in some way and so they end up keeping it to themselves. I think that people who witness bullying don’t say anything because they don’t want to be known for being a “snitch” and maybe they don’t want to be bullied as well for trying to step in for the person. This is why most of the time the witnesses don’t do or say anything about the bullying until something bad happens. I think the self-esteem of the bullies grow because they feel good about bullying other people and it’s the reason why they keep bullying a person.

My Favorite Movie

My Favorite Movie
My favorite movie is The Avengers. The reason being is that all the characters I liked watching as I was younger are there. There is a lot of action; they try to stop Thor’s brother from ruling Earth. I thought it was cool seeing the Dr. Banner transform into the hulk. I like seeing him go crazy taking down villains left and right like nothing. He’s always been my favorite super hero, seeing him in the movie just makes the movie really good. I was just kind of disappointed that Spider-man didn’t come out though. I thought the movie would have been better if he came out as well, all the heroes in one movie is like a dream come true. There is definitely a higher rate of success in taking down villains with all the heroes together. There should always be a happy ending and all the super heroes can bring that in a movie.
