Charlie Chaplin Modern Times
Modern Times was
successful in making people laugh a lot. There was a cool scene like where the
tramp was riding the roller skates. I thought a scene that was funny was when
he was singing without knowing any lyrics. He was making things up on the spot
and the audience he had really liked his performance. The thing that I didn’t
like was that they didn’t really talk. There were some slides that you would
read off of to understand the movie but it could’ve been better if the characters
would’ve talked more. I thought it was funny how the little tramp would always
being accused of being some sort of communist and well he had a very bad
relationship with the police. He was thrown in jail like three times which
shows his relationship with them. I think it’s just his bad luck with
them.
